 Level of education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, ecology or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), Registered Environmental Manager (REM), or similar credentials, can enhance the credibility of the Environmental Specialist.
 General areas of expertise and year working experience: A minimum of 10 years practical experience in environmental management, impact assessment, or a related field is crucial. Relevant work experience may include employment in environmental consulting firms, government agencies, or industry.
 Key specialisms: Specialized training or certifications related to environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental management systems (EMS), or specific environmental regulations.
 Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience with transport development activities: this includes policy, infrastructure, financing and technology aspect. A strong understanding of national, and international environmental laws and regulations is essential.
 Proficiency in using environmental modelling tools, Geographic Information System (GIS) software, and other relevant technical tools
 Ability to work in English language: it is mandatory for candidates to be fluent in the English language with excellent analytical and communication skills.
