Master degree in public administration, international relations, law, or a related field. Extensive experience in border management, including working with border police, customs, and veterinary and phytosanitary services. Proven track record in police cross-border cooperation. Experience with the EU visa policy and the Schengen Acquis/evaluation process. Involvement in strategic planning and legal drafting, particularly in the context of EU integration and Chapter 24 negotiations. Familiarity with EU regulations and policies related to border management, security, and immigration. Strong project management skills with experience in managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects. Proficiency in capacity building and adult learning, especially in home affairs and rule of law areas.
