IT Expert: / Support to implementing partners on EU financial management rules and procedures in Nigeria

General description of the position: Support grantees in setting up IT systems to manage finances, procurement and documentation.
• Expert category: Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)
• Qualifications and skills required: - Relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or related fields. - Professional qualifications in the field of information technology, data management and project management will be an added advantage.
• General professional experience: - At least 6 years’ experience with financial management systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and or financial accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
• Specific professional experience: - At least 2 years’ experience in setting up IT systems in financial information management solutions in alignment with donor requirements and best practices. - At least 2 proven experiences on designing online platform for repository and for training purposes - Previous experience in implementing IT solutions that ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong Project management and coordination skills - Training and capacity-building experience on IT related tools - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Language skills: Fluency in English
• Number of working days: 75 days
• Additional information: The expert will be working under the strategic direction of the
Team Leader and the EU Delegation. The expert will play a crucial role in enhancing the
technological capabilities of the grantees by facilitating better management of finances,
procurement, and documentation through effective IT solutions.
