General description of the position:

The team leader is in charge of overall coordination of the project activities and work of the members of the team.

Expert category: Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Completed university studies of at least three (3) years, attested by a diploma. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

General professional experience:

  • At least 6 years professional experience working with a non-governmental organisation, government or private sector as consultant/ advisor or staff member.

Specific professional experience:

  • Professional experience as team leader (or function with equivalent management responsibilities).
  • At least 4 years professional experience working on issues related to civil society development or other relevant field in Ukraine.
  • At least 2 years experience supporting capacity development for CSOs.
  • Experience working on CSO related issues in the context of EU integration in Ukraine.
  • Experience in managing operations, including planning and procurement of services.

Language skills:

  • English language C1; knowledge of Ukrainian language, at least B2 equivalent level, would be considered a strong advantage (understanding, speaking, writing in line with the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language skills.
