PhD/master’s in management, economics, human resources management, public management, marketing, business management, or related fields.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in public employment services, youth employment and job creation and also in coordinating a team for labor market intermediation and employment services,
o Experience in creating and leading effective teams.
o Experience in implementing activities related to the labor market and social protection desired.
o Experience in leading and supporting on-thejob training projects.
o Experience in technical assistance relevant to the project, including outreach to private sector firms and logistical support.
o Previous experience working on donor-funded projects.
o Multi-tasking ability, taking initiative, and working effectively under pressure.
o Familiarity with different job creation initiatives in Ethiopia.
o Excellent Amharic and English language skills
