Should possess a minimum of a University Degree in Railway Engineering, Railway transport systems or its equivalent qualification. Master’s degree in Railway related field will be an added advantage. With minimum work experience of not less than 5 years in similar assignments. With proficiency in spoken and written English and writing of concise and clear reports.

The railway expert will be responsible for inputs regarding the railway sub-sector and will review the evolvement of rail in Zambia including performance in terms of carriage. The expert will assess the reforms undertaken in the past and propose additional reforms if required to improve performance among other tasks.

In addition to holding a graduate degree, the Expert shall be a Registered Professional of not less than 10 years postgraduate experience. He/She should have successfully completed at least two assignments of a similar nature.
