Requested Profile

Qualifications and skills required: • Preferably a Masters degree or equivalent in law, political science, social sciences, development studies, or another relevant field. o In the absence of a degree, at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of the degree. • Proficiency in standard IT and office software (e.g. MS Office or equivalent). • Strong writing, facilitation, and presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• General professional experience: • At least 4 years of professional experience in community organising and/or engagement in a civil society context.
• Specific professional experience: • At least two assignments involving organising, overseeing, monitoring, or researching community engagement in Zimbabwe or similar contexts in developing countries. • Demonstrated focus on governance, transparency and accountability, democracy, human rights and/or inclusion.
• Language skills: • Excellent written and spoken English • Spoken Shona dialects [asset]
• Spoken Ndebele dialects [asset]
• Number of working days: 110 days
