General description of the position: To manage the team and give direction in providing expertise for reinforcing EU-CSO policy dialogue and strengthening CSO advocacy capacities.
Expert category: Place of performance - Cat. I (>12 years of experience)
• Qualifications and skills required: Completed university studies in social or political sciences or equivalent of at least 3 years, attested by a diploma. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• General professional experience: Minimum 12 years of professional experience in
development cooperation in the field of support to civil society and/or democratic governance
• Specific professional experience: Experience in facilitating institutional coordination meetings or multi-stakeholder dialogue forums. Understanding of the socio-political context of Sri Lanka. Programme and project cycle management experience, and knowledge and experience of EU international development cooperation procedures will be considered as an asset.
