Social Expert / Monitoring and Verification Services for the EU SWM Project in Za’atari and Azraq Refugee Camps and Host Communities

General description of the position: The Social Expert shall assess social inclusion,
gender mainstreaming, and protection aspects of the action. The expert will review
participation mechanisms, complaints and feedback systems, and gender-responsive
measures, and contribute to the evaluation of social safeguards, inclusiveness, and
community engagement.
• Expert category: Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)
• Qualifications and skills required: • Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or
Community Development. • Excellent communication and facilitation skills. • Fluency
in English required; Arabic an advantage.
• General professional experience: • At least 6 years of professional experience in
community engagement, social inclusion, or gender mainstreaming. • Experience
implementing awareness campaigns and participatory processes in development or
humanitarian contexts. • Proven ability to assess social inclusion and protection
measures.
• Specific professional experience: • Minimum 2 projects focusing on gender equality,
social accountability, or protection mechanisms. • Experience assessing complaints and
feedback systems. • Experience in CfW gender integration and inclusion measures. •
Familiarity with camp-based operations or social cohesion projects involving host and
refugee communities is an advantage.
• Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic is an asset.
