Masters in Natural Resources Management, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in climate change adaptation, and impact assessments for tourism projects and/or rural development projects etc.
• Ability to recommend low-carbon tourism strategies, conservation financing, and sustainable resource management approaches
• The Team Leader must have demonstrable and substantive experience in leading or conducting Strategic Environmental Social Assessments (SESAs). For the purposes of this assignment, experience with Environmental and Social Impact
Assessments (ESIAs) alone shall not be considered sufficient. Environmental and Social Impact Assessments.
• Skills in Project Management.
• Strong expertise in climate resilience planning, particularly for destinations vulnerable to climate change risks such as flooding, droughts, and habitat degradation.
• Experience in EIAs, SESAs, and integrating green tourism practices.
• Demonstrate experience of conducting SESA in Zambia or in the region.
