Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, or related field
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in agricultural value chain development, gender responsive programming ,and management of donor funded projects.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering similar
assignments.
Demonstrated experience working in agricultural value chains and gender focused
development initiatives in East Africa or similar contexts.
Familiarity with regional institutional and policy environments is desirable.
Provide overall leadership and technical oversight for the assignment; ensure quality and timely delivery of outputs; coordinate the project team; serve as the primary liaison with stakeholders and partners.
