Gender specialist – social scientist (category 2) with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience of which at least 7 years related to the thematic area in the request for services.
• Advanced university degree in gender studies, sociology, social anthropology, social policy, education or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional experience in qualitative and mixed-methods research on gender equality, social norms, education and training choices, labour market participation, and pathways into occupations. Proven experience in designing and implementing interviews, focus groups and stakeholder consultations, analysing qualitative evidence, and translating findings into policy-relevant conclusions. Experience in gender analysis in diverse socio-economic and cultural contexts is required.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills in English (minimum C1 level; minimum three relevant publications).
• Knowledge of ETF partner country contexts and additional relevant languages will be considered an asset.
