Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Civil Engineering,
coupled with at least 5 years of experience in managing complex infrastructure projects,
preferably in Botswana or similar developing contexts, is essential. The specialist will
demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Botswanan building codes, regulations, and
construction practices. Additionally, he/she will possess strong technical skills in civil
engineering design, materials selection, and construction techniques, ensuring the delivery of
high-quality, climate resilient and sustainable infrastructure.
