The Expert must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university, with demonstrated specialization or post-qualification training and experience in Road Safety Engineering. He/she must be a member in good standing of Engineers Board of Kenya or equivalent.
He/ She must have at least 5 years practical experience as a road accident data analyst or a collision investigation expert.
The Expert must have at least Five (5) years extensive professional experience in Civil Engineering or equivalent of which three (3) years are specific to the field of the assignment (Road Safety Engineering; collision investigation analysis and development of models for costing of traffic crashes).
He/she must have at least three (3) years extensive specific experience as collision investigation/crash data analyst expert or assistant on road safety study projects.
The expert must have completed at least two (2) similar assignments in the capacity of a collision investigation expert or assistant in the last 24 months.
He/she must have undertaken Collision Investigation and Analysis/Road Safety Engineering training from a recognized Road Safety Engineering Training Institution/body and possesses a valid training certificate on the same
