- At least 6 years - of which at least 3 year with developing countries - of professional experience covering education sector development, education policies and education support programs.

- At least 2 years of specific professional experience including the following areas: a. National and international policies and strategies related to education, in particular higher education. b. EU/MS mobility and exchange programmes, in particular focusing on youth.

- Demonstrated experience in supporting the design and implementation of youth leadership, and traneeship programmes and mobility schemes will be considerate an asset.

- Experience in SSA is considerated an asset.

- Proven  knowledge of the European Commission and its development policies and programmes will be considered as an asset. - Previous experience working with Europen funds in the field of skills or similar assignments will be considered as an asset.

- The expert must have excellent English language skills (writing, oral, communication, presentation).
