He/She shall have a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with a qualification in Gender Studies, GBV/SEA Studies, Women Studies, Social Work, Psychology or Sociology with more than five (5) years of professional experience in the related field. The consultant shall have proven experience in GBV/SEA, gender assessments, gender analysis, development of gender-sensitization programs and gender mainstreaming. Experience in Gender Mainstreaming within the energy sector is highly desirable. Experience in GBV/SEA is mandatory. The consultants (one per country) need to have knowledge and practical work experience in HUTLC in the context of country they are being proposed as the expert for.
