Requested Profile

Must possess a BSc in Atmospheric Science or Applied Math (with professional
experience in Atmospheric Science) or related field with more than 5 years of
experience in work related to the assignment.
Working knowledge of atmospheric science and atmospheric Modeling
Experience running and tuning numerical Weather models such as GFS, WRF,
ICON.COSMO, IFS
Experience with Fortran, and shell scripting.
Excellent communication skills in English
Understanding of numerical weather prediction and observational data assimilation
techniques and their uses in various applications.
Lead the development of an atmospheric Modeling system to improve representation of
severe weather warnings over an area.
