Relevant advanced University Degree in Education/Management/Information Technology and at least 8 years demonstrable experience in increasingly complex projects focusing on performance management and education Information Management Systems. Must have Project Management skills, Information Systems Governance and knowledge of Organization Management/Enterprise Architecture.

Education Background

Advanced Degree in a relevant education field with an information technology focus - PhD preferred.

General professional experience

At least 8 years’ experience in at least five developing countries with introduction of complex information systems—including national, subnational, and with an emphasis on school level. Experience with the interplay between policy, information, quality assurance and institutional development in increasingly responsible positions. Orientation to continuing use of existing governmental staff in all phases of project implementation.

Specific professional experience

6 years’ experience with education information systems that link to payroll, finance, HR and other operational systems. Specific experience with sustainable training, adult education and capacity development for medium- and highly-complex systems. Experience working in Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) essential.
