Qualifications and skills required: • Master’s Degree (or equivalent diploma). In its absence, the Master’s Degree can be replaced by a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent diploma) plus 2 years of professional experience, in addition to the minimum general professional experience required. • Excellent communication and analytical skills demonstrated by past professional experience. • Ability to operate in English and French at C1 level for reading, speaking and writing skills, as demonstrated by certificate or by past relevant experience. • Knowledge of Dutch or Greenlandic is an asset.
• General professional experience: • At least 3 years of professional experience in the design and implementation or monitoring of EU-financed interventions and/or policies.
• Specific professional experience: • At least 1 completed assignment related to capacity development activities (learning workshops/courses/coaching sessions) on project/ programme design, monitoring and/or reporting. • Experience in the design and/or implementation of interventions financed under horizontal EU programs is a strong asset. • Experience in drafting methodological guidance, learning materials and analytical tools supporting the design and/or implementation (including definition of indicators and monitoring) of interventions in international cooperation and development is an asset. • Knowledge of EU horizontal programs in the areas of research, biodiversity protection, environment, climate change, education, culture and human rights and values is an asset. • Completed training assignments on intervention cycle management, internal monitoring or result-oriented monitoring of EU external assistance actions are an asset.
• Experience in EU international cooperation and external action policies, instruments and implementation modalities are an asset. • Experience in working in or for OCTs is an asset.
• Language skills: • Ability to operate in English and French at C1 level for reading, speaking and writing skills, as demonstrated by certificate or by past relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Dutch or Greenlandic is an asset.
