The Team Leader will be a category II expert and will be responsible for: - overall planning, implementation, co-ordination of the assignment and of all its deliverables. - the quality andcoherence of the results to be achieved. - formal communications with the Contracting Authority and
institutional stakeholders. The management of the activities related to EU engagement with civil society actors, including the CSSB, will be managed by category II expert(s) Category II expert(s) will coordinate and collaborate with Category III expert(s) in managing the engagement with young civil society actors, to ensure coherence of approaches and synergies.
At least 4 years’ experience in the the implementation of development cooperation programmes in the field of good governance, rule of law, human rights.
For the Team Leader, at least one assignment as Team Leader or Coordinator in programmes or projects in the aforementioned fields is an asset.
Knowledge of EU external assistance policies is an asset. Professional experience in Asia is an asset.
At least 2 years of relevant experience focused on the enabling environment, and the strengthening of capacities,
for civil society participation in dialogue, advocacy, participation in decision making
Excellent command of English is required, both written and spoken.
