Qualifications and skills required: • Preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent in law, social sciences, political science, development studies, or another relevant field. o In the absence of a Master’s degree, at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of the degree. • Proficiency in standard IT and office software (e.g. MS Office or equivalent). • Excellent writing, analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and moderation skills.
• General professional experience: • At least 6 years of professional experience in development cooperation projects, preferably in governance, civil society, or related thematic areas.
• Specific professional experience: • At least three assignments involving project monitoring of EU-funded cooperation projects with civil society organisations (CSOs).
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of: o EU project management cycle; o EU grant rules and procedures; o Logical framework / results framework approaches;
o Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements. [Added Value / Assets
Experience in community engagement initiatives focused on transparent and accountable governance, democracy, human rights, and/or inclusion. • Previous professional experience in Zimbabwe or similar contexts in Sub-Saharan Africa.
