The Expert must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university, with demonstrated specialization or post-qualification training and experience in Road Safety/Traffic Engineering. He/she must be a Registered Professional Engineer in good standing of Engineers Board of Kenya or equivalent. He/she must be a member in good standing of Engineers Board of Kenya or equivalent.
The Traffic Engineer/ Traffic Data Analyst Expert must have at least six (6) years extensive post qualification experience in Civil Engineering of which three (3) years are specific to the field of Traffic Engineering; especially traffic data collection analysis and modelling, road design and preparation of tender documents.
The Expert must have completed in the last 2 years at least two (2) Highway Traffic surveys (collection, analysis and modelling) for road safety, design/construction/management of major highway project or similar assignments, in the capacity of a Highway Traffic Engineer. He/she must demonstrate a minimum 2 days Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the field of Highway Engineering in the past 12 months.
