He/She shall have a Master's Degree in Sociology/ Social Anthropology or closely related discipline with more than ten (10) years of professional experience in the related field. The expert shall have experience in conducting environmental and social impact analysis (ESIA) including stakeholder engagement of transmission line projects, resettlement and livelihood restoration, as per World Bank’s/any other MDB’s Environmental
and Social policies and national laws relating to ESIA. She/He will be responsible for ensuring that all social aspects of the ESIA study are identified, assessed and clearly and concisely captured in the ESIA report including considerations related to Historically Underserved Traditional Local Communities/ Clans. The consultants (one per country) need to have extensive knowledge and practical work experience in the context of country they are being proposed as the expert for.
