The minimum requirements covered by the team of experts as a whole are detailed below:
• Qualifications and skills required for the team: Master’s Degree in International Relations,
Peace and Conflict Studies, Security Studies, Anthropology or similar. In addition: excellent
written skills, excellent communication skills, project management, leadership skills.
• General professional experience of the team: At least 12 years of professional experience in
development cooperation or/ and security is required.
• Specific professional experience of the team: - At least 5 years of experience (either through
implementation or research) in prevention of violent extremism and/or counterterrorism is
required. -At least 5 years (or six different assignments) conducting research and/or evaluations
is required. - At least 3 years of experience (or four different assignments) with/on EU project

cycle is a strong asset. -At least 2 year of experience (or three different assignments) on
rehabilitation/reintegration of prisoners is an asset. -Proven knowledge on Burkina Faso is a
strong asset. - Proven knowledge on conflict sensitivity is an asset. # Proven knowledge on
gender analysis and gender sensitivity is an asset.
• Language skills of the team: French (C1) and English (C1).
